My son, aged 16 was treated for Varicose Veins in both legs. Mr Tiwari treated him with respect, ensuring he knew what was going to happen and why the problem had occurred. This meant so much to us as my son was extremely nervous until talking with Mr Tiwari. The procedure went well and we are pleased to say my son is back to playing football pain free.

I was given great confidence in having the procedure on my varicose vein , as Mr Tiwari considered all the implications of having this done in view of the fact that I had previously been treated for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He liaised directly with the consultant who oversaw my chemotherapy treatment. I was also reassured by his advice on the type of procedure - and the fact that it was the least invasive treatment. When I removed the dressing I was amazed at how small the incisions had been in the leg - and yet there had been extensive laser treatment of the vein and small branches of the vein removed. I was also very impressed by the care I received from the anaesthetist and that it was done under local anaesthetic with sedation. The aftercare I received in recovery and later from the nursing staff was excellent. His secretary was kind and exceptionally efficient, and when I had concerns about the after effects I received very prompt advice and reassurance. Mr Tiwari was very helpful in responding to questions I had before the treatment and about what I could do post treatment. The only suggestion that I would make to improve the service is to perhaps have an information sheet for patients when discharged after the procedure to explain what type of after effects are to be expected.
